Ideal Hospital was built with the majority of the financing coming from the Endicott Johnson Corporation,
d.b.a. "The Endicott-Johnson Shoe Company" and was affectionately known to locals simply as "E-J".
"E-J" with it's generous and innovative "Square Deal" policy touched and improved the lives of thousands
in the "Triple Cities" of upstate New York, Endicott - Johnson City - Binghamton.
